The drafthouse is a neighborhood bar/grill with lots of HDTV's to watch, lots of beers on tap and lots of bottled beer and a full service bar. We price our drinks as low as we can, so you can stay with us longer. The Pit Stop Grill serves a selection of traditional bar foods with some extra special ingredients, like smoked brisket. Enjoy TV watching inside or outside on our patio.
Our History
Opened in July, 2010 in the old Shuck-N-Jive location on Rosemeade and Midway, just off George Bush Tollway. Revamped the interior for a more modern casual look. We aim to be your place to stop in, or stay in for some great prices on food and drinks. Our bartenders are friendly, and so are our customers.
Meet the Business Owner: David S.
David S. owns and runs this little establishment, created from the experiences he's had managing at several area bars and restaurants. He's also worked in the hospitality business at the Hyatt and Hilton hotels. A sports fan all his life, he played baseball in college until his arm "blew out". (He'll be glad to show you his scars!) He wanted something that wasn't just a sports bar, that had great food and very reasonable prices. He got together some of the talented people he knew to cook, serve and man (or woman) the bar. The Draft House is the result of his passion for good food, good service and a good place to hang out.

The Draft House will be happy to provide professional planning for any sized event you have in mind, from a small dinner party for 10 to taking over the entire facility for a private party. The owner has previously been a manager at the Hilton and Hyatt hotels and can handle any type of services you might require. Our capacity is 122 in the interior and 86 more on the patio.
We also can provide catering services to your event and or special menu selections with our chef.

Good bar and cool patio. I recommend the burger. Also rotating choices aof lots of beers on tap.

"Met some friends at The Draft House to have drinks and we had a great time. We sat on the patio and thoroughly enjoyed 70 degree weather especially a week after Snow-pocalypse Dallas 2011.
The patio is great, very chill with some back ground music. Feels a little like a tucked away oasis. Maybe I am overselling it because I was so excited about the nice weather but it is a good patio and we had a great time.
The waitress was nice, we got our first round at the bar inside but after that she came outside to check on us.
We will definitely be back soon especially because I am committing to being outside at much as possible to enjoy the nice weather and their patio is a good place to do that."

"Great place to meet up with friends, kick back and watch sports. Over 40 different types of beer and a great menu as well. They were voted "Best Burger in Dallas". I suggest trying their burger, the sausage plate and Franks Favorite Wings. The bartenders are great and they always take good care of me. They have plenty of flat screen TV's so everyone can watch their favorite teams."
